Your battery is probably on its last legs. Is it old? May need replacement. Most auto parts shops will test it for you for free.

This is assuming you don't have aftermarket amps and speakers and all that stuff..

the battery seems to be new but i'l check it
so the wiring can't affect it right? couse its rly lame and ugly out there

probably a weak battery....

also the power of your stereo has something to do with it. my xterra has a pretty powerful system in it and the juice only last 30 mins tops, even at pretty low volume.

Batteries aren't supposed to last 4 years. Some do.

Buy the yellow "everstart maxx" batteries from wal-mart. Incredible batteries, great price, never had one eat shit on me. Although I generally don't own my vehicles for more than 3-4 years. I think I've had my teggy for 5+ years now. When I buy a car, I always replace the battery. Cheap insurance.

sounds like a battery man, i wouldnt be concerened with the wiring, id be more concerned with your wiring if your battery goes dead everytime you let your car sit, but still battery is the most likely cause. and im sure your alternator is fine, if your battery dies after music for that long, your car isnt gonna run of just your battery for more than a minute. good luck.

go get a new one fool!

just to be safe check the alternator. make sure its charging the battery like its supposed to.

I had an optima yellow top. i could listen to radio for at least 5 hours with my 1000/1 down and would start right up when i needed it to. I got it because the red top still let my lights dim when the bass was cranked up. I dont know about bad luck with them. I know if you dont keep them charged like they should they will eventually go bad.....like with any battery.

i like rep btw.... anyways batteries after long amounts of time of corse drain but they also build up gasses and lose water so if you have a shitty old batterie then you should get a new one if its low on fluids theres a cap on top you put water in helps a little.(dont smoke around there unless u wana die) you could have a short also you never know with aftermarket wiring and stereos :Edit: i should have red the whole thread... i got here to late...
