Best way to connect speakers?
ive been googling for like thirty minutes and i cant find what im looking for. im not really sure how to word it for google either..
does anyone know the best way to connect a speaker to the speaker wire? they have those spade-type terminals, and i would think that the female part that goes on them would be the best way but i cant figure out what they are called! does anyone know what they are called or a good/better way to hook it all up for the best possible connection? __________________

solder them on is the best sure fire way for a good conection but the female spade terminals work good also

x2 solder is the best unless you think you need to be able to get them out easy then use the spade terminals... go to radioshack with the speaker and try to get one that is nice and tight, they usualy dont mind opening packages as long as u buy a pack... g/l

Run new 12 gauge wires to all speaker locations
Solder everything into place Be happy __________________

Where is 91accordwithwork when you need him? This was one of his "mods".
As for twisting it...if you are going to solder it, why would you need to twist it? I could see once around or so to make sure it's a good connection, but soldering it will make a good connection without the need for excess wrapping... __________________
