Bahahaha, sorry I have to laugh because I find it funny that you didn't research how to wire it up before you actually took the time to put it in.
I would actually be helpful, but I don't know shit about EFs. I wish you luck with getting it running though.

Ok if you are sure that it was a carb equiped car instead of a DPFI car. The dpfi looks like a carb at first but there is fuel injectors that are there. If it is a carb I myself would not know on how to go thru with that swap because the wiring on a carb based car vs. a Fuel injected car is completely different. Know if it was Dpfi then you will have to use that cars original engine harness and first convert it over to mpfi. There is a great write-up that I have used and it is in the reference section. Second since the d15b7 was a obd-1 engine then you will have to get a obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness for the distributor and the ecu side of the harness. There are several companies that make those harness but Rywire is the one that most people use.

Can i just pull an entire harness from a obd1 car out of the junk yard and run it from my new ecu all the way to all the sensors on the motor??? and that harness will work with my old distributor from the D15B2?
the old motor was half carburated and had 2 injectors so its half and half i guess. |

HAHAHA..half and half...One thing honda never did was half ass. Coincidently, your topic is recent info for my self. For starters 88-91 civics are obd-0. A d15b7 is non vtec so you should be set with a conversion harness.(no subharness required)(obd-0 to obd-1) dpfi to mpfi. They are 114 bux shipped from www.rywire.com . You could try and pull an entire 0bd-1 harness from a junk yard, but like most people and myself, you will quickly change your mind once you find out you have to rewire just about everything behind your dash also. (neck cramp)
That is why these wire harness companies are getting rich. Most any 89 civic I have seen is dpfi, and so is yours. |

My Friend Has A B7 In His Hatch, All We Did Is Convert From Multi Point INstead Of Dual Point Theres Millions Of Write Ups On It And Its Simple And You Dont Need A New Harness Just A Few Plugs, And I Would Just Get A PM6 Ecu Which Come Out Of CRX/EF Si's Easy To Find And Thats It
