i need help , my crx wont start i checked the spark plug wire order and it was fine, and i also replaced the spark plugs with new ones (first time installing them). both the spark plug wires and the plugs are new and installed. the engine cranks but it wont stay in idle. can you guys guess whats wrong with my engine?

does it start and then die or does it not start at all? check engine light on?

no, the engine does not start all(only cranks). its getting fuel, spark is good, i checked ecu and its working, the timing is also good. my friend told me to check the compression, but its too expensive and the car does not run. help
