I had a busted tank on the civ that i got (from that stupid air muffler over the fans) and to make a long story shorter,
I found a 90 teg with a aluminum rad that is double the coils and drops right in.. (90 civ 4dr.) Only need to make some kind of 'holders' at the top corners, BUT it doesn't move around that much at all. I'd need to go back and trim the outer ledge of the pass fan outer housing to bring it flush with the rad and that's about it. The lower hose did need a little lube and bigger hose clamp to go on though. Hope this helps someone with overheating problems. If someone would like a pic to post, I'd email to them showing my header clearence. E |
