Hello, I know someone is going to get on my case about posting this because im sure it was ask somewhere in these forums. But ive looked and looked. Ok i have a stock 95 civc dx (95-Civic-Dx-D15B7) I need a engine that i can swap with good power. Or even better a list of engines that will fit. I would be forever gratful. Thank you.

D15B7 92-95 CIVIC DX/LX 1493CC 102HP@5900 95FTLB@5000 4CYL, 16 VALVE REDLINE:6800 SOHC
Im looking for a vtec engine only.. also around 200hp if possible.

Also my civic has 145,000 miles.. would a turbo be a waste seeing as the high milage?? i dont wanna blow my engine. If i choose not to swap..

The reference section has a list of engines and their preferred swap applications. Check it out.

As for the condition of your engine, perform a leakdown and a compression test to check it out. At 145k I would recommend a rebuild before boost no matter what, but as long as the engine shows up as healthy after those tests, you're usually ok to boost.
