this weekend my dad and i took apart the hf trans to inspect it. we replaced the bad bearings we found. the only problem is that when we were done we had a small peg/roller bearing looking piece and cant find where it goes. i would like to know where it goes if possible and if it is even needed for it to work.

i am sure it is needed - Honda wouldn't just have an extra pin in it that wasn't needed - how big is it? diameter x length (mm) - is it a solid pin? or like a roll pin?
have you looked at all of the old bearings to make sure it isn't a needle (roller) that came out? __________________
