Also if you have someone to help, you can apply presure with the breaker bar and have them hit it with a sledge hammer (kinda like an impact wrench). heating the nut could help also, but don't use propane, if you dont have access to oxy/acetelen(sp), use mapp gas. it's much hotter than propane.

Yea I had that problem with my CRX. I broke off the screwdriver tip trying to push the tab out. I tried to load it with BP Blaster then force it over. Didnt work. I applied heat to it then let it cool back down. Put it back on the ground, used a 3ft cheater bar, and had the fattest friend I could find stand then jump on the bar. That worked for me. My next attempt was going to be an air chisle. They always work... but usually you have to replace something else too because you damage it.

before i bought my composite impact (1000ft. lbs) i used to put the car on the ground, get my 1/2" breaker bar, and put my jack handle over it. that made the length like 6' or so. stood on the end, and it would mostly do the job. with my new impact however, i dont even unstake em if the owner or myself has a new one, i just blast em off. puts a smile on my face every time.
