Default this cant be right

ok so i bought a new intake for my 91 crx dx right. but i went out to install it. i try to pull out the o2 hose from the vale cover then there a two more hose that are connected to it. one i think goes to the thottle body and the other to the intank maniflod. i pulled the hose form the intank off and aintfreeze came out. so i put it back. the thing is that am not sure if i can cut the hoses from the o2 off the the other ones that are going into the intank and body. is the antifeezer getting sucksion from the o2 tube? i need to put the aftermarket tube form the intake on or it wont fit. i know enough about cars to do this but done want to cut some a fuck things up.

so if any one out there has done this before on a 91 crx dx please help me out.
thanks for any help. oh and sorry for the bas typing.

no, theres no suction from the vent tube.

it sucks because EF's have the 2 tubes "welded" together with the metal clip in the middle.

What I always did with my EF's was just cut the vent tube on either side of the metal tab and then just try to hide that coolant tube down underneath the intake or remove both and just use a rubber hose for the coolant line.

Use the vent tube that came with your new intake

and, you're talking about this right?

yea thats what am talking about. so its safe to go ahead a cut that little black clip on the hoses off? i just thought that thats were the coolent gets its suction from to continue the flow.so those hoses dont have anything to do with each other and the coolent will continue to flow correctly?
and the pic is a great piture of what i was talking about. thanks.

its not a clip...they're welded together

it sucks, but they're all like that

and yes, the two have nothing to do with each other

I cut mine off with a saw, then cleaned it up with some wrap on top. Easy.
