| I know that this thread is old, but I haven't found any solutions in the postings. I have an 89 CRX with a B16a and I converted it to OBD1 using a Zerg harness and a TD44u dizzy. The dizzy is new (Bortek). I got it locally. The timing is correct. The engine runs just fine except the CEL is throwing a code 9 (cyp). I checked the wiring back to the obd0 side of the conversion harness and it is good. I have spliced a yel/grn wire to the fat white wire on the obd0 side of the dizzy. My question is: Are the wires supposed to match up by color when doing this conversion.? Also which of the 3 pickups inside the dizzy is the cyp...the one with a single spoke, the one with 4 spokes or the one with a lot of spokes? |
