Default crx engine swap

so i have an automatic '91 crx dx model.
i want to swap the engine and tranny to manual. what are all the possible engines i could fit into my crx?
i want an engine that could give the most potential in speed.
i was thinking of the SiR engine. what do you guys have in mind?

Theres alot of engines you can put in your crx, b18c5 is good. not to heavy (doesnt make the car understeer), almost 200 hp at the crank, a little cheaper is b18c1 170 hp. If you are on a tight budget, you could do an ls swap, 140 hp. It will still be fast in a light crx

i know for eg's, to do an auto to manual swap you have to buy a special mount specifically for auto to manual trannys cause the side tranny mount is almost an inch off from one to the other.

im pretty sure its the same for the ef's too. so be prepared to do something custom. if im worng someone please correct me.

No special mount is needed, you have to just cut off in the middle of the old bolt hole and drill another next to it.
