OK I'm gonna hijack this thread and ask about my 91 DX D15, what is the easiest / cheapset way to get just a little more hp? I love driving the car and love the gas mileage but it sure could use a little more HP 95 is not a lot, my motorcycle makes about that much lol

oh, so you have the d15b2. you would want to do the mpfi swap, basic bolt ons (intake, header. exhaust) get it tuned...if you want. then if you want to put a turbo on it, bigger injectors and fuel pump

First of all damn must be a hell of a bike. Second I would look into a dpfi to mpfi conversion. If you can find the parts for cheap its an easy conversion. But if you want a really good power increase do an engine swap, I was able to find a jdm d15b vtec for $300. it has 128.5 hp stock.

of course you can, but you would have to do a mpfi swap and not push to much boost because of the size of the rods.

price depends on where you get it, because if you get it from a junk yard it'll be less or if you buy it new or have to rebuild it. Most people try to use a small turbo like a t25 or 14b or even a 15g because you don't really need a big turbo because like I said you don't want to push to much power or boost because the d15b2 is known for having weak connecting rods. I'm sure if you wanted to you could turn the boost up and see how long it takes, like if you're going to do an engine swap

A B series in any car is an awesome step up from a D series motor. In your case 1.5 Non VTEC < 1.6 DOHC VTEC

But yes its a good idea, alot of people do B18A1 with Turbo makes for a quick car

I would look at
JDM Engine Depot
Engines, jdm, diesel engines, jdm engines, japanese engines, japanese motors
I've had good luck at both places and fair prices, localy is another good way. The b18A1 on boost is nasty with VTEC but I would go with the GSR with Boost, comes with VTEC and imo is a better motor
