Default ECU staying lit in a 91 CRX D16

I did a MPFI swap and 5 spd conversion on my crx but I cant get it to run it cranks fine and has spark and seems to be getting fuel...but the ecu code light stays lit now and it wont run...anyone think they could help? ...Its a 91 crx dx auto swapped to a d16a6 5sp..jackson racing supercharger, str cam gear, and full exhaust

solid red LED on the ECU means you have a bad ECU

That sucks cause I hooked up the one I just bought off ebay and its doin the same thing as my other 2 that I had one of them I knew worked great...I opened all three no funky smells or visual defects to either side of the board on all 3

my car did something similar, but the led was slightly flickering. My fuel pump was not turning on. The car would crank fine aswell. I had a bad ground for the ecu and main relay. Double check your ground on the thermostat housing that is where the ecu is grounded.

already went through all the grounds... they're all fine

No one else?? Its really bothering me...Ive had this car forever now and no one can help..ive tried different people in ct but they mostly just know how to bolt on and plug in

Check your main relay for a bad connection, if a problem occurs in the relay then do not replace it, but simply re-solder the joints on the board in the casing. Let me know how it goes.

This is a fairly common failure on the ED cars. It may be a good idea to replace the engine grounds with new wires if they are still the originals.

main relay is fine all engine grounds are brand new....
