Default EG to EF seat swap

I just came across a set of custom leather embroidered EG seats for $100 and I want to put them in my 88' EF. I was wondering if anybody has done an EG-EF seat swap and could tell me how they managed it. Thanks

sometimes you can trade the seat rails to make different seats work in your car.

pull your seats out and look on the bottom and see how your seat rails attach to the seat bottoms, measure the locations of the bolts and when you go to look at the EG seats, measure the rail mounts to see if they will fit.

Ghostbusters! Yay, just swap the rails over, that's the easiest way to do it.

I'm hoping I'll remember to ask you about this at work tonight, but if you'd like, I can have my mechanic and his friend keep a look out for some seats for you. Just let me know.
