| Junior Member | so i have a 90 crx. just did the engine swap in it... so i have a b16a block with ctr pistons. block was milled .002, also have a gsr head with gsr cams and intake manifold. ....... car starts up great but has a rough idle, sounds like miss fire. spark and fuel is great. when i pulled the plugs they are nearly dripping with fuel.. i have NGK-R spark plugs gapped at .035. if i start to get on it on the streets it has no balls at all. timing is at 16. no stutttering as im driving just doesnt feel like its at its most potensual... any suggestions???? also what Compression ratio do u guys think i have??? |

| Führer Mod | after plugging in what info you have given it looks like you're around 12.3:1 compression.. you're gonna need a kickass tune for it to run right on pump gas |

| Führer Mod | is it a cheap eBay Spoon chip (most likely).. if so, ditch that garbage and go get tuned by an actual person.. not some premade chip that just dumps a ton of fuel into the motor... thats why it doesnt run the way it should |

| Junior Member | ha ha ha ya i had money at the time just thought id try it..... i put the same computer in a stock b16 crx and it ran like a raped ape... i aslo tryed putting a stock pr3 ecu in and its the same??? i just checked the ecu now and im throwing 5 and 7... i know what 7 is witch is the tp sensor would that effect performance or just the idel??? |

Rep Power: 270 | as eg6 said...your lack of a tune on a 12:1 comp engine is causing your problem. No matter how that ecu ran a stock b16...its gonna suck on yours. |
