Default L3 transmission question

my L3 transmision out of a 91 civic si is making a bunch of bearing noises. I know I am going to have to rebuild it but I was wondering if anybody has ever converted one to use a LSD? I have been searching around on the internet and found that Quaffe, OBX, and Phantom grip all offer "drop in" lsd kits. Has anyone ever used these products? I would love some feedback before I drop a large chunk of money into my trans.

A lot of people running the OBX. Just be sure to open it and check everything. They're similar to Quaife, but the Quaifes can be dropped in without inspection.

Phantom "slips" are notorious for tearing up differentials. They're pretty much a copy of OPM's conversion.

The noise you're hearing is probably the input shaft bearing. Notorious for going bad on D-series transmissions.
