Default Lowering

Eventually I'm lowering my car.

I have '90 Integra rear discs on my '90 Civic Si.

When I did the swap I used this page:

In the blue writing it says every 1" I lower the car I have to add a washer.

Can anyone verify this?

I'm going to get an alignment when I'm finished so could they do this then?

Thanks, Brad

Or another way to do it is to just get a camber kit. It is more precise that way and you know for sure your camber and toe is going to be straight. Just put your camber kit on and take it to les schwab. I just had mine aligned last week. Just be sure to tell them you have a camber kit and your car is lowered.

Just go with longer bolts and some washers, cheaper and works just the same.

Makes sense, if I was to get a camber kit I would get it for the front anyway.

The ebay camber kit works just fine. They are cheap and work great. It is a good idea to do at least the front so you can get the toe right too. My toe was off 4 degrees and I wore tires out in like 300 miles. It sucked.
