your not going to make 75hp off a headswap..
what internal mods do you have first off?? and you can def. squeeze more hp out of your setup now.. __________________

you aren't going to get the 75hp, but you'll be damned close with a b16 head. It flows better and no matter how much people say vtec and turbo's suck, the numbers will prove all the nay sayers wrong EVERY TIME. Id imagine that if your car dyno'd at 225 on an LS, adding a better flowing head with more aggressive cams is probably going to net you some pretty impressive gains. At a minimum I'd guess you dyno again at 275.

On my brothers internally stock, b18b, straight LS, we made 270 HP, using a precision sc60. Now his set up is a fully built LS/Vtec and it makes way over 300 on only 10 pounds using a precision sc61. The head swap alone wont net you 75horses. But a head swap and a retune on more boost will get you there. The VTEC heads flow soo much better than an LS head.

internal mods... eagle rods, crower valve springs and titanium retainers, high boost mls head gasket and race engineering block guard. my shop says i have to get rid of my FMU {which was already in the car when i bought it} i dont even know what it is. that will free up more power. is this true????? by the way fully tuned at 5psi with hondata.

in a sense yes. they're telling you to get rid of it because its a shitty way to tune a car and a lot of times it ends with a ruined engine or ruined turbo (might explain the blown seals you also mentioned).

Dont Spend 500 bucks to rebuild a turbonetics turbo. For 500 bucks your 2/3 to 1/2 the price of a new turbo. The precision sc61 we run on out integra cost 750 but you find them online for anywhere from 750-1000 bucks, There was a used and in good condition gt30r on my other forum for 500 bucks the day after i bought the precision.

wow tuned on 5psi..up the boost and run the right stuff and you will def. get better numbers..
also the best head would be from the gsr b18c1,because it doesnt raise compression like the type-r or b16.. __________________

The GSR head increases compression more than the b16. Also, the b16 gets better numbers on flow bench than the gsr head (stock v. stock), which makes it better for turbo apps. The design of the combustion chamber in the GSR head make it a better candidate for an NA motor. __________________
