Default mini me question

I was looking online and I came across this article D16A6 to D16Z6 Conversion..."Mini-Me"
the one thing that I'm wondering is even though I've got a d15b2 but I'm doing a mpfi swap that would give it the si dizzy and I've already got a z6 intake mani, wouldn't that kind of make it like the a6?

thanks

alright, so even if the head bolts up it doesn't mean that it would work because it wouldn't have enough compression?

seeing that the z6 has a bore and stroke of 75 x 90 and the b2 has one of 75 x 84.5 how much would that change the compression because thats 5.5mm difference

wow I was just looking on SolBlu's Helpful Del Sol Site and seeing that the d15b7 is pretty much the same as the b2, I used that as the block and it said that it should jack it up to 9.84:1 from 9.1:1 thats pretty good

If you got a block such as a D16A6 it would go right to 10:1, the D16's have bigger bearing journals than the D15's too theres no downside.

oh no the d16 defiantly has better support. But I did get some good news. I had to give me friend a ride home today but we stopped at his nephews house and he's get a 91 integra ls just sitting there, he also has an 89 integra that if I go a head gasket, a tune up, and a few little things for him, I can pretty much have the engine and tranny, and probably the axles, the bad news is that it's got a misfire in cylinder #1, but that could be anything

I still may do a half assed mini me on this engine, but I'll get the 1.8 ls engine, tranny, and maybe the axles. Just for doing a head gasket, a tune up, and maybe a few other things.

If I were you, I'd fix nephs' car, do a quick rebuild/re-ring to the LS, find some hotter cams and swap that in once you get all the parts together.
From what's said, you would have enough torque to keep you smiling even after you get to work/school.

is the teg a standard???if so take everything..
motor, tranny, axles, ecu, you can even take the wiring harness..only thing that wouldnt work is mounts, and shift linkage,,but you should also take the rear mount bracket..its a necessity for this swap

obd0...yea take everything..you might be able to sell the mounts for a little bit of cash..depending what shape..but yea..you already have the whole swap there..except the linkage and mount kit..which the linkage you can actually cut and use..and the mounts you can get ebays for less than $100 shipped from ebay

Off subject 89 teg-d16a1 does NOT fit ef IT does fit 84-87 civic aKa EW. The driver side mount is on the front of engine not on timming cover. The ZC was only offered in japan. ON subject nice find on the 91 teg that should be a fun ride
