Hey you guys, I'm trying to help an older lady down the street w/her honda wagon. I don't know very much about hondas, so bear w/me... It's a 1993 wagon, 16 valve, Automatic tranny, 179K on it, .. The problem is, it won't shif into D3 or D4... it will shift from 1st to 2nd, but thats it, it stays in 2nd ( the shifter moves freely, It's in the tranny). I'm sure theres not much I can do for her but, if you guys have any advice or think I should try something, I will... Vacume?? Change fluid??... I don't want to see her dump a bunch of money in it.. Thanks for any help or advice!!...

does it make noise? but yea try changing the fluid but if its wat im thinkin the best way is just put it in the shop cuz a trannys nothin to take chances with

Does it work fine when in D1?
