Default Need Someone to Break it down VTEC rex

Ok let me start by saying im really not an idiot I just really want to be sure before I do it..... I want to put D15B Vtec (JDM full swap) in my 88 crx HF.... Now i have read almost every article and post on the subject but alot of stuff is unsaid or im unsure of so can someone anwser a couple of my big questions.

I know I have to get an p28 ecu and engine wiring harness but will my current interior wiring harness plug right up to the new ecu?

Will my Hf 5 spd Tranny bolt up to the new engine?

Right now my Hf does not have A/C or Power Steering. The new engine comes with everything (a/c, power steering) Will my car be able to have A/C and power steering then?

In my CRX right now i have a 135 amp alternator ... will this bolt right on to the new engine or do i have to get a new one for the Vtec engine?

That is it for now Thank you for your time I really appreiciate it.

you dont have to use a p28 if you dont wont you could use a the d15b vtec ecu with a 1 wire o2 sensor you can bolt your stock hf tranny to it but thats gona suck because its geared so long the motor wont have much power to it, try and get your self a 88-91 si tranny, that will bolt right up also, and you will need to covert your car to obd1 and run some extra wire for the vtec.and your alternator should work fine

No, your harnesses and plugs are all OBD0 the P28 is OBDII. You need to get the sub harnesses for the swap.
Try this: Rywire - Online Store

Will my Hf 5 spd Tranny bolt up to the new engine?
Yes, but an Si tranny would be a great investment, or try to find a factory LSD tranny that came with the JDM D15B's.

Right now my Hf does not have A/C or Power Steering. The new engine comes with everything (a/c, power steering) Will my car be able to have A/C and power steering then?
Dude your CRX never came with power steering...hahahahahahahaha. You dont need power steering in a CRX. The A/C is all up to you.

In my CRX right now i have a 135 amp alternator ... will this bolt right on to the new engine or do i have to get a new one for the Vtec engine?
My advice is get one for a D16Z6 and mount it to the D15B.

That is it for now Thank you for your time I really appreiciate it.
Wheres my rep?

The P28 ECU only comes in OBDI, so no matter what he would've got it(I hope).

The only P28 I know of is the ones that came on the 1992-1995 EX/Si Civics and Del Sols.

You still messing with me dude?
