Default putting battery in trunk

Well today I went to kragen and bought a battery tray and hold down and made a 16ga. braket to support it I mounted it in the rear corner on the passenger side then ran 4 ga. from the engine bay to the trunk. Now I have to make a battery box but I dont know if I should make it out of aluminum or maybe S.S. even maybe a lite gauge PVC coated galvinized what do you guys think ? I have many choices since I'm a sheetmetal worker and can make it out of anything really even copper but it will probly get stolen

I would go with aluminum, and then paint it, just glue some foam-rubber to the inside top so if the terminals do come in contact with it, it doest short out.
