I don't know the proper name for it... it's the sensor with 2 prongs above the oil filter.

It`s the coolant temp switch. It tells the fan when to come on.

What? that doesn't have anything to do with coolan. It is an oil pressure sender that clicks on when your oil pressure goes lower than a certain level and then your oil pressure light comes on.

No, thats the oil-pressure switch, which is the Single Plug(the one in the picture I posted).

The 2 prong sensor is indeed the Fan switch/coolant sensor
