86 CRX HF Gas Tank
Hello,
My gas tank has a leak and I don't know if I'll be able to patch it or not. I've tried looking for replacement tanks online but can only find 88-91 CRX tanks. Any advice? Thanks! |

holes
I have tried to patch it with soldering lead, soldering iron on mine have to be empty gas tank for safety.
and its also depends on how severe is the damage holes. sand it down the paint and dust grease particles.plug the soldering iron must have the astray for placing the hot iron when not needed. then place the S-iron in the part to patch up and once its hot start patching it up bigger holes need a piece of copper plate to cover. its real cheap soldering lead and iron can be bought from electronics stores.
