Howdy,

I'm new to the group and really need some help.

My 91 CRX DX has not been started in about 5 months. I tried to start it and the CEL stayed on. There was no light from the ECU, not even one blink. I checked several times including in the dark but no light. I checked the fuses and made sure power was getting to the fuse, all was OK.

I replace the Main Relay under the dash, but still nothing.

Any ideas????

does your car start if not bad ecu is what it sounds like

Wow, Fast Reply!

The car does not start. I checked for fuel flow by removing the banjo fitting from the fuel filter. No fuel comes out. If I spray some engine starter (ether) in the air intake it kicks once, so there is spark. If the ECU is dead, can it have a spark?

no so the car turns over but it just dont start,if you cant hear the fule pump when you first turn the key on and there is no fuel theres only two things main relay or bad fuel pump

I replaced the "Main Relay" under the dash by the hood release, but its still not pumping gas as seen by removeing the gas line from the filter. The pump may be bad.
There may be more than one problem though. The CEL reminas lit. I thought the light turns off after a few seconds. Does that coupled with no light on the ECU mean I have a second problem?

take the pump out and wire it straight up to a battery somewere to see if it kicks on,and im not sure about the light
