| Greenhorn | I am wanting to know the compatibility of the starter from my 1986 Honda Civic CRX Si with Programmed Fuel Injection with other cars. I know that some cars, such as my buddies Jeep, can have some parts interchangable with a Ford. So, the question is, can a starter from another vehicle, such as a Mazda, be interchangable with my Honda? And what year range? |

| I made the millionth post | They used 2 starters in those cars depending on the emission standards nippondenso for the ca cars and mitsu for the federal cars...I believe both are interchangable from 85-91 civics and crxs as long as it's a fuel injected motor (85-87 si or 88-91 any model) |
