Default Replacing CHips in ECU??? doable?

hey all,

i have just found out after checking voltages that my PR5 ECU is dead on C9 pin... and thats why my newly installed PA Sensor isn't working. DAMN it!

anyway - is it possible that i can remove the 'chip' which has all the maps i need for my HKS supercharger - and install it into another ECU?

Should i get another PR5 ECU?

the car is running a PG7 as stock - what other options do i have?

many thanks!
