just installed b16 obd1 into 93 delsol si sohc vtec. the original ecu is in car still and car wont start. will this virgin sohc ecu run the dohc engine???? help !!!!!!

yes the p28 stock ecu will run the b16 not great but it will work. Does it try to turn over? any clicking? do you hear it try and fire? injectors wired up?

yes it cranks but wont fire,it wants to go but wont. does the sohc ecu need modified to run a dohc??

Might not be relevant BUT!!
Possible Main Relay Problem.
When you turn the key does all of the lights come on?
Do you hear the relay clciking?
The enginer light should stay on for a few seconds and then go off.
If you don't hear clicks or the check engine light stays on the main relay could have gone bad. If so take the relay apart and resolder all of the connectors. You might see the bad connection and not have to resolder all of them.
