First I read a ton of tech articles on swaps and that sort, then asked questions on anything that I still wasnt sure about, then biught a shell then a motor.

Are you doing this swap yourself? Or are you paying someone else to do it? If you're doing it yourself and this is your first time swapping, I wouldn't really recommend the K20 or H22...

Yeah, I guess. Can't beat the B-series for ease of swapability. The K-series motors though, are simply fantastic. They do require more work to swap, but they best the B-series in pretty much everything (n/a, boosted, etc.). H22 swaps have their place as well. I wouldn't recommend them a car that's going to see a lot of twisties, but for a drag car or a stop light racer, they work pretty well...

do a J-series swap, v-6 FTW. cheaper than a k-series swap but more HP and torque.

If he's got the money for a K20 and he's willing to spend it, I'd say do it. I love the B18s and H22s just as much as the next Honda guy, but there's no denying that the K-series is superior in every way...
