crankshaft pulley

This is a discussion on crankshaft pulley in the Civic and del Sol - EG and EK forum
I have a 1993 honda civic with a d15b vtec engine. Need to get a pulley for the crank shaft. Does anyone know if the civic and del sol carries the same crank pulley. Kind of confused. On the internet there are different descriptions....

I would assume your talking about a light weight crank pulley / under drive pully??? or are you talking about the stock pully? A 1.5L non vtec crank pully should be what your looking for, a d16 is bigger than your stock block. a Del sol came threw with 3 diffrent motors...

Its the under drive pulley otherwise known as the Harmonic Balancer. This one is for the1.5 civic lx and dx model and also the 1.5 del sol. Can u say if this one will work

I would just use the stock one. The aftermarket ones always fuck up D/B series motors.

stay with an OEM one
not enough power to be gained to make up for the reduction in engine life

Agree'd and yes it would work, but having owned a D15B I would advice not to get one...
