thanks for all your help. Are skunk2 cams decent for the price? Or should I go with a crower cam as well? the cam costs $393 and change. It seems quite expensive to me, but then again I would rather pay for power than skimp on it and go with ebay crap.

You know, I can't remember your name to save my life...but go on Honda-Tech and look-up Evasivemotorsports.com, they're one of the sellers/sponsors on there and give GREAT prices on Skunk2 products.

In fact, here is the link.... Honda-Tech.com: Performance: Skunk 2 Performance Parts Cams, Cam gears

They gave me the best price I have found, period. Trust me, I have spent my time looking for the best price anywhere. Who knows though, the price you found may be close to what they can offer, as I only know the price they offered me for my B turbo stage 2 cams. Drop them a line on their post or send them a PM. They usually get back to you within a day or two. Either way, make sure you look around before you make your final purchase.

I believe the two gentlemen I spoke with were Geoff and Dennis in PM's.

hey the more power I can get the better. I would still like to do a home made type of turbo kit if the t28 wouldn't be overwhelmed on my motor after all the aftermarket parts I put into it.

I'm thinking that will add at LEAST twenty horse power to your build, so go for it! Actually, if you have the money to use on something else, why not? If you like it, go for it. Personally I do not want to use money on any other peripherals yet. My theory now is to buy what I need, build, then customize later.

for sure plus if you wanna be technical....it would eliminate the weight of the arm rest thats like a good two pounds lol. but for real that will start to add up when I take out my back seat, and stuff like that. I am gonna try and drop a lot of weight soon.

If you want to run authentic CTR wheels you're going to need a 5 lug conversion...

Rarely. Unless it's diesel. And if you drive the track properly, you shouldn't be at partial throttle all that much either. In any case, I still like my all motor engines!

The Vitara pistons that FJT sells on Honda-Tech are NOT OEM Vitara pistons. They're aftermarket replacements for OEM applications, and they are cast from a different aluminum alloy (T-6 I think) and also have a heat resistant coating on top. That plus the compression ratio in the D engines are what make them so desirable, along with the price!

Thats cool I wish I had musical talent not neccisarily to play in a band but even just to jam for myself. I will check out your band though.

Since my thread died because in reality, I ran out of funds in order to post pictures of neat little things I have bought (which WILL pick up soon enough) and really, people want PROGRESS...haha...I have adopted this as my surrogate thread.

I'm glad to hear that but pics will be few and far between. but I have no problem with people just b.s. ing in my thread. And I would like to learn bass and have for a long time but the older I get the more responsibilites I have which means more cost, less money to spend on stuff like that. By the way I checked out the band but not really my type of music but they sound like they have a lot of talent. Which is really what counts. I love to watch bands get on stage and love their own music even if the crowd isn't into it.

true, but right now my wallet is way too thin. by the way I have a question for you guys....My power steering belts keep getting frayed on the inside very quickly...I know it is because the lower pulley isn't tight enough. Can I just jack the car up, take the wheel off, and tighten it with a socket?

there may be a lot of wear and tear but the more bands you play for the more exposure you get right?

exactly. the more people you know the more people you are connected with someone is all like "hey man I know this sick ass drummer" next thing you know you are drumming for a band that is the sound you want making good money doing it.

Damn 20 years? you have been playing drums since before I was ever even a twinkle in my parents' eyes. At least you stick to it that long that is one thing I hate about myself. Sometimes I quit on a project before it is finished because I get bored or discouraged. But that is in the past. I finally have the motor I want, the suspension setup I want, and the know how and resources to begin to finish this project.
