okay, i have came across a black '94 ex coupe, its JUST the shell for $500, but i have also found a D16Z6 VTEC w/ trans and everything, i think it needs rebuilt though... for $300, is this a good deal?

Depends on how nice the shell is and what exactly is wrong with the engine.

If everything is in running order than ya it's a good deal especaly in the us

well the shell is in good shape and the engine just needs gone through and rebuilt, its been ran hard and doesn't run very well anymore

yeah I would say it is. Anything you can get running and is decent looking for $1000 or less is pretty good in my opinion.

you need to find out exactly what is wrong with that motor... I just sold a motor that had been running extremely hard before a b16 swap for $100... you should not want to pay more than $200 if its beat to hell and needs a full overhaul (new pistons to new LMA's)... that would be me though.

$300 for a blown motor is too much. if it's bad, it's only worth $100 or so.

its not close to blown, my friend just had it in his hatch and raced a dodge truck and almost lost so i'd say it needs somethin...

You do realize we're talking about a D16 here, right? It's not exactly a monster engine...
