|  Looking to do a B18C5 swap How's it goin yall, I'm new to this forum as I just recently got into the Honda swap crew, I'm new to honda motors but have a couple of years of being a technician behind me. Anyway I have a 97 Civic EX SOHC Vtec, i'm looking to do a Type R swap into it. From my understanding the 98 spec has titanium valves, a more agressive cam profile and a better set of headers on it. I called up Hmotorsonline and they said for 4600$ I could get the complete JDM engine all with axles, ecu, etc,etc,etc. I was wondering if there are any obstacles I should expect or tips I could get from you guys when doing this. Or even if I should look at purchasing a different motor and work with that. My goals are to be higher than 250hp after basic bolt ons, and eventually supercharge it. Any tips/comments/suggestions are welcome, have at it. |
