Ok im new to the honda , but have been tuning for about 8+ years now. Im going to swap my d16y7 from my 98 ex, for a b16a2. I know i need a obd 2 engine. Now this is were im getting lost. I have researched hours and hours and i am still not clear. From what i've read the b16a2 is from a 99-00 si and is obd 2. But i see many b16a2's for sale online stating they are obd 1. now to me they look identical. now im just getting headaches. Is there both, or are the sites just miss labeling them ? Theres just too must info and it all conflicts with the other. So im totally lost. Could someone here please steer me in the right direction.

There are quite a few of them my friend. These are the ones I am sure of the "OBD" on them. The B16a is OBD0, B16a1 is OBD1 and the B16a2 is OBD2. I hope that helps. And of course if I am wrong, may I get shot in the face with a bazooka.

ya im just finding a lot of b16a2's labeles obd 1. dont wanna spend all that money and then find out
