Alright i got a complete stock 1996 black honda civic hatch. no power options whats so ever. my freind is giving me his doors of his 1998 civic coupe. But they happen to have power windows. my question is. is it difficlut to wire up the the new doors to my car which has no power? if it's not then how do i wire it up so i have the option of power windows.

its a pretty involved swap

you will need to either get the floor wire harness from the doner car (in addition to the door harnesses you already have) or rig up wires of your own to make it work

you will also need a power window relay and 3 20 amp fuses

furthermore to keep your rear window wiper functionality i think you will have to do additional work (or so i heard, i have a coupe)

having said that i have most of the parts but still have yet to attempt the swap

good luck if you try to do it, wiring diagrams will help you out
