Default Throttle Issue

When i mash the gas pedal, no matter what gear i'm in and no matter how fast i'm going, it feels like i'm losing power and a jingling noise is coming from the engine. It only does it when the engine is under a load though, if its on neutral it doesn't happen. Any help would be great. Thanks. Ski Ski

Sounds like pre-ignition. What octane of fuel are you running?

Try using 91 or 94 octane gas if it sounds like marbles.

Thanks, i'll check it out. That is exactly what it sounds like. I was only using using 89. My engine is not really modified too much so i didn't think i needed higher octane

OK, so you all were right on the money. My timing was way off. I'm not the one that did the head swap in the first place, but i sure as hell did it this time. Thanks for the info, running like a champ now
