Default vtec not engageing?!?!?

i have a mini me in my 93 ex coupe..i swapped the oil sensors so it has the 1.6 vtec one...and it also has the proper amount of oil..what else could it be? the soleinoid?? thanks

its already wired for vtec its a ex? and the wire harness is a vtec one..

Did you pull the little oil jet on the back of the deck before you put the head on??

umm random question my headgasket is brand new with about 5 starts on it..could i reuse it? or should i replace it again?

Should replace it but I've reused them before with some copper gasket spray.
