swapped a D17A2 from a manual tranny with the same motorbut from an automatic car. the car idles from 800 to 2300 rpm up and down. also the motor will only go up to 3800 rpm before rapping out.. i swapped the new motors egr ...

|  swap problems swapped a D17A2 from a manual tranny with the same motorbut from an automatic car. the car idles from 800 to 2300 rpm up and down. also the motor will only go up to 3800 rpm before rapping out.. i swapped the new motors egr with the old and the problem went away for about 5 minutes and everything started doing the same. do i need to do anything with the ecu? sensors? any ideas? |
