Default driver problem?
so my DVD ROM took a shit

I have a Sony VAIO desktop, the CD-RW works fine so I kept it and installed a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-107D drive where the OEM DVD ROM drive was located

It found the drive and it reads great, but we seem to be in conflict as it if it should also write for me.

Do I need to change a setting, DL a driver? I gig a Google search for the driver but I had no luck

make sure the settings on the jumper are correct. the pioneer should be set as master and the cd-rom as slave. also the drivers are universal so you shouldnt need one. maybe a firmware upgrade.
