Htc g1?
Hey I was just wondering if anyone has one, or has one on order. Ive been readin up on em, but all the "reviews" seem to be from ppl in love with the iPhone, who have never seen a G1 let alone use one. Im just curious to see how ppl who have actualy used the G1 feel about it. A co-worker has given his a thumbs up, but Im lookin for a bit more back ground. Thanks.

Well, I got my G1 today. My first impressions of the phone are great, hopefully as I get more fermiliar with that will stay the same.

It looked pretty cool to me. I'm interested in trying the new Blackberry Storm, though the bastards at Sprint don't have it available yet.

I got my G1 about 3 weeks ago, i can say its one hell of a device, compares with the Iphone alot exceeding it capabilities in some aspects, big thing is that its open source. A couple of things that might bother you is maybe the thickness of the phone because of the keyboard, and battery life for GPS, camera doesnt have flash but during the day or in light it has pretty bad ass picture( dont think about using the cam at night or in dark places), no video recording (supposed to be coming out soon as well as a touch screen keyboard) other than that flawless

^ Yea im diggin mine. The no video recorder part sucks, but even with my other phone i didnt use that too much. The apps are badass though. I dont mind the thickness too bad either.
