I'm a C.O.D FREAK! I love it I play it I recently got put on to the K/D ratio....NEVER knew it was there I would just play with any gun and get them their accesories blah blah blah well anyway I got into it now and I got my kills and deaths bout even with my kills slowly creeping higher and higher, I know I'm good, my problem is that there are times when I KNOW I should get the kill and I don't......I feel like the persons gun shoots faster than mine did and it's not a double tap cuz double tap starts off slow then speeds up...........I've done some research and have come to the conclusion....MODZ!!!!!!! They've probably been using modded controllers....to tell you the truth it doesn't happen too often that they kill me but it does bother me becasue they sometimes cost me the dogs and I'm wondering...what's you guys' opinion should I level the playing field and get a modded controller?

Fucking asshat. Don't do it. Use a modded controller for solo play. They fixed that glitch with double tap and the rapid fire mod in COD4 and its completely impossible now in MW2.

What you think of leveling the playing field may occur in 1% of the players you play against, but for the rest of US NORMAL PEOPLE who play the game fairly you're trying to fuck us over. If you're worried about your K/D Ratio, plant yourself in one spot with claymores, UAV Jammer and Deep impact using whatever gun you want and just wait for someone to run by you.

Of course if you do this then you're a fucking bitch ass corner camper and if I find you I will revenge kill your happy camping ass until you quit the game.

And modded anything is not leveling jack. Back in the Halo 2 days we had guys that would standby but I didnt run out and buy a new switch. I just enjoyed beating their asses even more.

I'm the type of guy that I wouldn't even get into any of the glitches or out of the map on COD4. Sure my friends did, but I had no part of it. I hate it when you have to cheat to win at a game that means nothing in the long run of life. Its meant to be fun, so have fun playing it.

really, the only people I know that have talked about it have been total losers who surprise surprise play the game 18 hours a day.

I'm a gears of war guy when it comes to COD I suck, however I don't give a damn, I'm still having fun, even if I get 1 kill to every 10 deaths its just a friggin game.

even if you mod your controller you still will get killed. i have a modded controller and dont use it online cause its only good for the handgun, the rifle still has to loaded.

it all really depends on how good of a shot the other guy is.

I'm a GREAT shot that's the thing...I'll start shooting the guy and it only takes about 3-4 bullets in him to kill him and I start shooting FIRST yet before 3 to 4 go into him I'm dead and it pisses me off becasue in the killcam I can see that I HAD him but I'm the one who died....like I said it doesn't happen often BUT I guess now I'm starting to realize it becasue I get on back to back streaks and it pisses me off that a cheating noob is breaking my streaks and eventually really hurting my whole team.

I hear you there. i noticed tonight is there is big time lag in the game, I shot at a guy and hit him 10 times and he ended up stabbing me and he was still a few feet away from me.

all i know is when there was the ufo hack in MW i wanted to cut some bitches thumbs off.

people that play with modded controllers are ALMOST as bad. Just play the game as designed and have fun. After i learned the G-shot i rarely used it cause i was always worried about timing and i just ended up with a better k/d per round quick scoping with an m40. If i see fuckers cheating i make it my mission in life to make your life hell. Like the guys that liked to glitch to the really tall building in district. My job in life was to find a good spot to fuck them when they decided to stray too far on the building.

Yeah I REALLY didn't want to do it but I've been realizing it mor and more lately as I play and it seems like once the glitches got fixed and i don't have to worry about getting shot at from someone suspended in air now I have to worry about this rapid fire dudes killing me when they're supposed to be dead..........and the "second chance" people......don't even get me started on the "second chance" users!!!! But anyway thx, guess that solves my dilema i can't WAIT to get MW2 by the way, I'm trying to get the prestige edition package looks FIRE!!

I'd say it's more attributed to lag. PC gamers experience the same issue; and when I was playing DOD back then with 56k, I used to be able to pull off some of those "2nd to shoot kills" that you speak of and in general it be hard for them to kill me.
