So I am attempting to make a step by step manual to explain how to email files. I'd like to make it with the actual images from the screen to make it easier.

note - print screen on my keyboard doesn't work

nevermind, i'm a fucktard
didn't know print screen = copy to clipboard

alt-print screen will only copy the window that has focus and not the entire desktop.

Well, since it's out there, once it saves it to the clipboard, how do you access it? Is it in a particular folder?

you can paste it into any imaging software, or just paste it into a word document

if you use ctrl and prnt scrn it will copy to the clipboard of the current screen. then you can ctrl V or paste it into paint is what I use, then its a jpeg or bit
