So, I need something to replace my 2 15" monitors. I've just upgraded my computer and thought, might as well upgrade the display!

Anyways, I was looking at the Asus 25.5" monitor since a friend had tried it. He had some high-end monitor before and didn't like the Asus at first, but thought he'd give it a try and it has grown on him. Just wondering what you guys suggest; I'm looking for something preferably under or around $300, HDMI, and a very fast response. It'll be used for multimedia/gaming/computer and watching TV, so something with speakers would be nice but I can do without it if a monitor with similar specs is much cheaper.
