pretty much all the cards on their says QAM sucks.... not just for this, but for ALL of them.

That was the least sucky one.

QAM is the only reason i want it. NTSC/ATSC, i'll never use.

QAM support is still sucky under Windows. If you want a system to run your tuners... well... you know my answer

i want it to be able to watch the news or something while i work. i won't be running my home theater off it.

If all you want is for basic news and shit... Don't waste $100... I got mine last night... haven't installed it yet... Lemme install it tonight or tomorrow and i'll get you some screenshots... it was like $30. And USB.
