Any of you guys design web pages?? If so what program do you use? Ive been playing around with Dreamweaver and I have also used Frontpage, but i am not a fan of frontpage. Id like to see some pages you guys have designed if anyone has. Also where are some good resources to read up on web design and that sorta thing. Thanks for the input.

i made it with dreamweaver for a college computer class. its crude but serves its purpose as my homepage. i especially like my background. its a tiled pic of of a george foreman grill.

hondaswap was written 100% with editplus

if you use dreamweaver, frontpage, hotdog, <insertyourlameeditorherethatonlyfu cksshituphere>, you're a hack job.

learn right the first time.

start wtih xhtml 1.0, Css- powered, table-less design.

don't teach your self that bad way first.

here's some interesting reading:

what he said... you'd be ahead of 95% of "web designers" (including me) if you learned that xhtml standards crap first and didn't fuck with tables for laying out pages. someday i'll learn...

Alright thanks very much guys. I really apprciate it. Im going to school and getting a BA in Computer Network Secuirty and i though learning to do webdesign would be a pretty good thing to go along with the degree. Agian thanks for all the input. I have wondered if there was another way to do webpages besides using tables. And the work you guys posted looks pretty damn good. Thanks agian.

tables are for TABULAR data.

would you type a paper in excel? nope. so why put it on the web that way?

this is something i was toying around with a while back....

http://www.hondaswap.com/index5.php
