Hey guys, my first post here.
I've got an 1989 Integra and it had been running rough for a few days. I thought it was bad gas, but then the other day it just died on me. I've checked everything that I can think of with the exception of the Ignition Module. and I dont know how to do that. Replaced the Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires and the timing belt is ok. The rotor turns when cranking, and the coil tested well both primary and secondary windings. I've got the distributor sittin on my coffee table right now, and my manual only shows how to test the 86-87 ignitors not the 88-89. Can anyone help me? Does this require special tools (oscilliscope? Dwell Meter? cause all I've got is a digital Multimeter {Fluke 77}) Thanks in advance. I'm on MSN ilovesuperrob(AT)hotmail.com |
