i want to swap a 1990 LX sedan cluster which has a tachometer, into my 1990 HB DX which does not have a tachometer. is it a direct swap? i won't have to do any re-wiring for the tach to work, will i?

No rewiring will be needed as long as the 90-91 gauge package is being used for a 90-91. The 88-89 gauges are different.

i went ahead and swapped the clusters. everything was a perfect match, plug and play, no left over wires. however... haha, i still need to fix/swap my motor to find out if it's working.
