i am doing the same exact swap and my engine wont stay on for long either . its missing and backfiring, my distributor was rusted and bad too like yours. but i was told that the p70 ecu was the one for the jdm d15b vtec engine and i also saw it on a list if ecu's and thier matching engines hang in there i know how you feel
