I have a 98 dx hatch that I am putting my brand new built b20/vtec in, but I have some questions about the wiring harness. I am going to use a Hondata, so that means OBD1, but I currently have NO engine wiring harness in the hatchback. The other underhood wires are there, but no engine harness. Could i just use an OBD1 harness and run that all the way to the computer under the dash? It is alot cheaper than buying a 98 harness and a conversion harness too. Thanks.

Run a OBD2 P28 from Hondata and get a OBD2 EX harness.

I guess that I should have said that I already have the Hondata from my 93 civic - OBD1.

Well I've got a how to to make a conversion harness on my site. Buy the 98 ex harness and make a conversion harness. It's a major pain to rewire different OBD cars.
