I fried my ecu puttin in a wrong sensor...so know i'm shopping around for another one...i went to local junkyards and could only come across a p06...i have a p05 in my car right now...what would the "side effects" be? will it even work...i desperatly need a new ecu because this is my daily driver...i've been out for a good week =[

I don't know if a p06 would work on a cx or not but i have a p05 ecu from a 93 cx if you need one. $10 plus shipping. Let me know if you want/need it.

if i'm not misataken, th epo5 runs a 4 wire o2. the cx runs a 1-wire.

for ease or life, just get another cx ecu

ok wow now i'm reallly confused...i have a 1 wire o2 sensor...i bought a 4 wire but it didn't fit...so i bought a universal one cause i couldn't find one that fit...p05 is for the cx right? holy shit bro, i'm so confused right now lol, i'm startin to think the guy that sold me the car has a swaped dx engine...cause i remember seein a dx pcv valve on the engine, but i put the cx one on...anyone know a way to tell what kinda engine it is...it sais d15b8 ont he cam cover...and i know thats a cx...anyother help would be nice =] and please help me out with this ecu problem thanks =]

the 1 wire o2 sensor is a cx d15b8 and it needs a po5.

quick lil update...its not the ecu...i think its the distributor...i'm gettin no spark according to my dad who says he tested them...
